Why I write.

No this is not George Orwell. Depending on who you are, you may have certain prejudices reading this. Due to the advent of social media to spectacular extents, we now witness the categorization of human identity and image as well as the fragmentation of human characteristics into shallow bare bones. We remove the details, the mind, the soul. At the moment, I have an image on several social channels, each displaying a separate version of myself, combined, they should form a direct image of who I am as a person. Sadly, they do not.

Now that you read the previous spiel, you can get to the introduction.

I’m a woman in my twenties. I’m Lebanese, and I’m also Armenian. I form a lot of ideas, I’m an engineering graduate from the American University of Beirut, and I’m currently doing a Master’s in Finance in the same institution. I would like to call myself a professional chess-player. I was told blogging would help me become a good economist. So I write this to translate my thoughts and theories into words, those being turned to action sooner or later.
